To The Table –
Autumn is suddenly here, leaves are starting to fall at our feet, and soon Easter religious and secular traditions will bring families around the dining table in celebration and feasting, whilst old man Winter waits impatiently on the horizon to join the family festivities.
Now is the time to plan ahead.
Table for two, four, six, eight, ten, twelve … or 24 or more? Who is coming, do we have enough chairs? Shall we follow tradition with egg decorating, colomba pasquale, gifts?
So much to look forward to.
At a time where we are also surrounded by much heartache and devastation, here and around the world, it’s time to stop and take a moment to count our many blessings.
No better way this Autumn than to warmly go ‘a tavola’ with family and friends.
